On stage in 2026
Jakob Frímann Magnússon
Jakob Frímann is a founding member of Stuðmenn and has for half a century been one of Iceland’s most colourful musicians: composer, keyboard player, filmmaker and the man behind Jack Magnet. In the 1980s he also played with the American band Bone Symphony.
At the first Hljómey Xtra, on Saturday night 25 April 2026, he filled Alþýðuhúsið with music, jokes and stories. Secret guests took the stage, and Jack Magnet, Hveitibjörn, Frímann the aviator and other curious characters dropped by.
